Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and procedures.
• Excellent PC skills; HRIS experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, service, and training to management and employees.
• Maintain knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with management to improve relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
• Assist with recruiting and screen applicants for qualifications and eligibility.
• Investigate employee complaints and assist with disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Coordinate communication and administration of employee benefits.
• Plan and direct annual open enrollment.
• Record and process unemployment claims and maintain employee files.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality in a hands-on facility environment.
• Support bonus programs based on performance as applicable.
