Job summary

Kelly Services in Topeka, KS seeks a Human Resources Generalist with strong bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) to provide on-site HR support at a high-volume food manufacturing facility. The role covers employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits coordination, and compliance, primarily for hourly associates.

This is a full-time contract position through year-end with potential extension, working Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at the Topeka facility.

Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish to support frontline plant communications.
3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree; PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Experience with HRIS platforms (UKG/UltiPro, ADP, Workday, Kronos) and MS Office.
Knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO and Workers’ Compensation.
Able to work in an on-site plant with cold-temperature areas.

Responsibilities

Frontline employee relations; bilingual resource on the plant floor.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication and translation across HR and operations.
Recruitment and bilingual onboarding activities.
Benefits and leave coordination including open enrollment support.
Compliance and records management for HR files and claims.
Safety training support and workers’ compensation coordination.
