Rocket Farms is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist to support employees and managers across HR functions onsite in Salinas, CA. You will handle relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leaves, HRIS, and safety—ensuring compliant, practical HR solutions.

The role requires English/Spanish fluency and 3+ years of HR experience, with knowledge of California laws and payroll processes. Occasional travel to other locations may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required; strong communication in both languages.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience in hands-on roles.
• Working knowledge of California employment laws and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity) and MS Office.
• Experience supporting workplace safety, workers’ comp, or OSHA compliance preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers.
• Handle employee relations, recruitment, benefits, leaves, HRIS, training, and safety.
• Provide bilingual HR support to ensure policy understanding.
• Coordinate onboarding, eligibility verification, and documentation.
• Support payroll/timekeeping and resolution of discrepancies.
• Assist with workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Contribute to HR audits, training, and continuous improvement.
