Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for second shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) and weekend (Fri–Sun) in Huntsville, AL. You will lead electrical test operations, develop automated test scripts, and coordinate with Planning, Production Control, and Engineering to ensure tests run as planned.

Responsibilities include overseeing production testing processes, debugging, and generating documentation for spaceflight hardware testing, with an emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field) with 0+ years of experience.
• Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with Manufacturing, Assembly & Integration and test of Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Manage testing to meet project schedules.
• Use Solumina to execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases.
• Generate/modify test routings inside Solumina.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects.
• Identify and reduce risks in production testing processes.
• Manage configuration and data controls for changes.
• Define manufacturing processes and production flow for test of space products.
• Resolve problems related to configuration changes, material issues, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Operations, and Inventory Control.
• Complete verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Debug software/hardware with various tools.
