Job summary

Leidos Inc is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Engineer for our Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL. You will develop, document, and execute manufacturing processes for electronic products and support PCB assembly through SMT, selective soldering, coating, and related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of related experience or Master's with 0–2 years; high school diploma with 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Willing to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift weekend schedule (Fri–Sun).
• Experience with SMT, Through Hole Selective Soldering, and Conformal Coating is desirable.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently; ability to collaborate with design/ manufacturing engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute manufacturing processes for electronic products.
• Support PCB assemblies through SMT, soldering, coating, and related processes.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop hardware and utilize advanced assembly/test equipment.
• Create machine programs and oversee manufacturing activities.
