Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the National Space Systems Integration & Test team in Huntsville, AL. You will plan and execute electrical test operations, develop automated test scripts, and work with MES Solumina for test routing and documentation.

The role requires 2nd shift and weekend work, collaboration across multiple teams, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. Training may begin on 1st shift prior to transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 0+ years of relevant experience required
• Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment
• Experience with electrical/electromechanical/test work
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am) and weekends
• Security clearance eligibility (Final Secret or Secret) may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of electrical test operations
• Develop automated test scripts and documentation for spaceflight hardware testing
• Use MES software (Solumina) to execute test plans
• Generate/modify test routings in Solumina
• Identify and drive continuous improvement in production testing
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, and operations leads
• Verify requirements and prepare validation reports
• Debug software and hardware across tools and equipment
