Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise integration engineers and production staff on C-Shift. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while mentoring a skilled team in a demanding aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include performance reviews, staffing, training, and continuous improvement, with relocation and travel options noted. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping the production footprint for critical engine programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years managing a team in manufacturing or aerospace
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and drive improvements
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Root cause and corrective action experience
• Understand department KPI metrics to improve performance
• Lean manufacturing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance reviews
• Support recruiting efforts (conducting technical screens/participating in panel interviews)
• Responsible for establishing workstation assignments, employee training, overtime assignments and back-up for absent employees
• Maintain and communicate work center schedule status to ensure meeting customer expectations
• Provide first level escalation support to employees regarding HR issues
• Identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities and implementing change to improve process, reduce cycle and setup times
• Maintain all work center programs (5S, Lean, Cleaning and Safety)
• Ensure all team members follow work instructions, quality requirements and processes
• Ensure accurate technician staff data recording - clock-in/clock-out
• Provide continued training and skills development for team members, and mentor early career team members
• Ensure start-up readiness for production
• Safely work within an industrial environment
