Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Production Operations Lead in Huntsville, AL to manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing and supply chain activities supporting flight and ground systems.

You will oversee safety, quality, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement and coaching a disciplined, procedure-driven team in a high-consequence environment. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and real-time decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in manufacturing or maintenance of complex components.
• Experience leading technicians or operators on a frontline level.
• Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians on a daily shift with focus on safety, quality and schedule.
• Plan, assign, monitor work and manage overtime/coverage.
• Ensure work adheres to procedures, instructions, drawings, and safety standards.
• Provide hands-on technical support for integration, checkout, and operations of flight and ground systems.
• Coach and mentor team members; support hiring and onboarding.
• Communicate status, issues and risks to leadership and partners.
