Blue Origin is seeking a dynamic Shift Leader of Manufacturing Ops & Assembly to oversee aerospace component production. You will lead teams to achieve operational excellence, develop production plans, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, safety, and the ability to scale up production for new products, with shifts A–D at Space Coast, FL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing a team in manufacturing or aerospace.
• 5+ years as an individual contributor in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decisions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules.
• Mentor manufacturing teams, fostering teamwork and openness.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to address challenges; drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor production performance and report to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Manage budget and resource allocation for manufacturing activities.
• Support new product introductions and scale up production capabilities.
• Evaluate inputs and criteria to make informed decisions with quality focus.
