Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Associate - Technician to support New Glenn (NG) Operations in our Work Centers. You will perform a variety of tasks to assist with manufacturing, production, logistics, and facilities functions in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail to ensure safe human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with basic hand tools and assembly processes.
• High School diploma, GED, or Military experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of new production work areas ensuring tooling and equipment are configured for safety and efficiency.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts as required.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine cleanup, support 5S, and control Foreign Object Debris to maintain safety.
• Move parts and tooling between work centers to optimize workflow.
• Take on additional duties assigned by supervision contributing to mission of safe space exploration.
