Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Associate - Technician to support manufacturing, production, logistics, and facilities in our fabrication work centers. You will help with pipe and hanger fabrication, material handling, and setup of new production areas while upholding safety standards to enable safe space exploration.

The role focuses on assisting with daily operations, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to contribute across the Test & Flight

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience using basic hand tools and performing assembly tasks.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; time-based experience considered.
• Ability to read and interpret simple engineering drawings and specs.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Pipe and hanger fabrication support and basic fit-up assistance.
• Set up new production work areas with proper tooling and equipment.
• Operate material handling equipment to facilitate production.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain clean work areas, perform 5S activities, and control FOD.
• Move parts between centers to optimize workflow and production schedules.
• Assist with inventory movement between buildings to support schedules.
• Undertake additional duties from higher-level technicians or supervision.
