Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking an engineer to design and build data acquisition and control systems for testing space vehicle sub-assemblies and liquid rocket engines.

You will collect customer specifications, create electrical design packages, manage build activities with procurement and vendors, and support installation and activation of systems, including video monitoring and sensor networks.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in industrial or aerospace control system design/operation.
  • Experience designing I&C systems using CAD-based schematics.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation theory and data acquisition hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build data acquisition and control systems for testing space vehicle sub-assemblies and engines.
  • Collect customer specifications and create electrical design packages.
  • Manage build activities through part procurement and vendor management.
  • Support installation and activation of systems (e.g., video monitoring, sensors).
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure safety and reliability.
