Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking an engineer to join the Integration and Test team, focusing on flight hardware test procedures and real-time operations for lunar transport programs. The role demands hands-on verification, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a proactive approach to safety and data analysis.

You will plan and execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with internal customers while supporting shift coverage and travel as needed to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

  • BS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting electrical test, integration, or verification of spacecraft or aerospace systems.
  • Hands-on experience testing spacecraft avionics and electrical systems, including verification and hardware checkout.
  • Experience executing formal test procedures and documenting results.
  • Ability to read/write code in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Python or similar.
  • Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment; willingness to travel and work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware.
  • Execute daily test operations, operate test consoles and coordinate with internal customers.
  • Apply experience to vehicle test planning and verification testing.
  • Work with design and systems engineers to test integrated vehicle and subsystems.
  • Troubleshoot issues and anomalies during testing.
  • Analyze and archive test data to support verification tasks.
  • Support anomaly resolution and root-cause investigations.
  • Help develop test procedures, setups, and ground support equipment.
  • Identify safety improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare status updates and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Work independently to develop solutions and support readiness reviews.
