Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Additive Manufacturing support technician to perform meticulous post-processing of printed parts. You’ll work with grinders, drills, cut-off wheels, and measuring tools to remove powder and supports, ensuring spaceflight parts meet strict quality standards.

You will use height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and profilometers, uphold PPE, and help improve safety and process documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands‑on experience working on parts related to spacecraft, airplanes, cars/trucks, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated attitude of world‑class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Ability to support your shift and overtime as necessary.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Support two main areas: Powder removal and Support removal.
• Perform part post processing and inspect for cracks, geometric anomalies, and missing features.
• Maintain PPE and assist in job hazard analysis and safety improvements.
• Cross-train in other Additive Manufacturing work centers as needed.
