Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support multiple AM systems and ancillary equipment at the Greater Seattle Area facility. The role focuses on maintenance, process improvements, and safety in a fast-paced environment, contributing to spaceflight programs.

You will work with a small team, maintain documentation, and assist with vendor deployments, challenging your mechanical and problem-solving skills daily.

Qualifications

• Expert understanding of AM machine operation from machine flips to daily general maintenance tasks.
• Mechanically inclined with basic and advanced shop skills.
• Attention to detail with focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve additive manufacturing machines to maximize part quality, uptime, and throughput.
• Track consumables and coordinate procurement and maintenance of powders, build plates, process gas quality, and filters.
• Assist vendor field service engineers during commissioning and upgrades; document repair incidents.
