Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Space Vehicle Verification and Validation Lead to define and manage mission‑specific system verification plans within the Blue Ring family. You will work with spacecraft, ground systems, and payload teams to ensure traceability, interface definitions, and compliant verification reporting for multiple missions.

The role demands experience in requirements management, model‑based systems engineering, and collaboration with government and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical or software engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years space system development or test engineering experience.
• 2+ years spacecraft verification experience.
• Experience with requirements definition, traceability and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as System Verification Lead for Blue Ring missions across multiple customers.
• Define system verification plans and manage requirements allocation and traceability.
• Collaborate with mission teams to analyze verification needs for spacecraft and ground systems.
• Develop verification modules and ensure end‑to‑end verification data integrity.
• Report metrics and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support launch site verification and payload/ground system integration.
