Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the In‑Space Systems team. You will help define and verify system requirements, interfaces, and architectures for spacecraft subsystems and on‑orbit mobility.

You will collaborate with Flight Software, AI&T, Mission Systems, and other teams to develop robust verification plans, validate hardware, and ensure mission goals are met with high technical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum a B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lead Systems Engineer to ensure design standards and best practices.
• Decompose high level requirements into system architecture and functional diagrams.
• Coordinate with subsystems to ensure verification and validation plans align with objectives.
• Create and oversee test plans, procedures, and results reports.
• Collaborate with I&T, ground systems, flight operations, and systems architecture for holistic solutions.
• Manage technical, schedule, and cost risks.
• Support planning and development of system-level verification methods.
• Engage in proposals and drive process improvements with ownership.
