Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Vehicle Integration Manufacturing Engineer to translate engineering intent into scalable manufacturing steps for the Blue Ring spacecraft. You will work closely with design, test, quality, and manufacturing to ensure safe, on-schedule assembly and test readiness, including DFMA improvements and tooling enhancements.

You will review drawings, update work instructions, and drive problem-solving on the shop floor while adhering to AS9100 and ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering roles with growing levels.
• 1+ year experience creating English-language work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support AI&T and final vehicle assembly activities for the Blue Ring spacecraft on A-Shift, including hands-on engagement during vehicle buildup.
• Translate engineering intent into functional flight hardware and act as technical resource during integration sequences.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions for the full integration flow and refurbishment.
• Identify and resolve on-the-floor issues; disposition non-conformances with corrective actions.
• Create in-build redlines and recommend engineering changes to improve assembly sequences.
• Perform engineering drawing reviews and provide final approval for documentation.
