Job summary

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering, 3–5+ years in systems engineering, and strong communication skills. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience in space or related field.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Systems Engineer to ensure design standards and processes.
• Decompose high-level requirements into system architecture and design specs.
• Define interfaces, CONOPs, and verification/validation plans.
• Coordinate with subsystems to ensure requirements are met and test coverage is complete.
• Assist in planning system-level verification methods and events.
