Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team and help design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure, including hardware, software, and configurations. You will work with teams to establish improved processes and ensure safe and repeatable spaceflight. Multiple positions across business units, with Reston, VA as a primary site.

Minimum a B.S. in engineering and recent graduates who can start by Fall 2026 are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Recent graduates able to start by Fall 2026.
• Experience with aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering on complex systems.
• Ability to decompose problems into traceable tasks and communicate status clearly.
• Internship or hands-on leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements, perform system definition, testing, and integration across hardware and software.
• Decompose internal customer requirements into test system specifications with traceability.
• Develop and manage interfaces via ICDs and drawings.
• Lead and present at gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) on system readiness.
• Own verification and validation planning and TRR completion.
