Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems seeks an experienced program manager to lead spacecraft programs from design to delivery. You will coordinate across Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Operations to meet technical, schedule, and cost goals while ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The role involves managing risk, developing financial forecasts, and maintaining strong customer relationships with NASA and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• Master’s degree may count as 2 years of experience.
• Minimum 10 years of program management experience on large-scale engineering/manufacturing programs.
• Experience with FAR, NFS, and government contracting practices.
• Experience managing program financials including EACs, staffing, and funding.
• Ability to build trusted customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of spacecraft programs meeting technical, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Drive program performance through disciplined risk management and issue resolution.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Factory Operations, Finance, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, Business Development).
• Manage program technical baseline and contractual requirements.
• Develop and execute risk management plans with accountable owners.
• Monitor financial health, forecast revenue, and manage resources.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, NFS, and company policies.
• Oversee contractual reports, financial reporting, and executive communications.
