Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Sr. Manager of Program Management to lead the PMO for satellite programs.

You will act as the single accountable person for major proposal efforts and oversee program performance from post-award through completion, coordinating with a cross-functional team. The role requires a strong background in large-scale engineering programs, leadership, and the ability to travel 10-15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; a master's degree can be counted as two years of experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience including program management of large-scale engineering/manufacturing programs.
• Ability to travel approximately 10-15% for meetings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with sound financial/business acumen.
• Able and willing to be present in the Palo Alto, CA program office daily.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and control program activities from pre-award acquisition to program completion.
• Partner with Business Development to support pursuits and define technical baselines for costing.
• Manage contractual requirements and ensure obligations are satisfied.
• Serve as primary focal point to customer representatives and maintain ethical business practices.
• Coordinate reviews, risk assessments and corrective action plans to meet objectives.
