Job summary

CesiumAstro, a space hardware developer, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join our team in Denver. You will support mechanical designs through all development phases, including CAD, simulations, manufacturing, testing, and in-orbit support for satellites and aerospace systems.

The ideal candidate has a BS with at least 1 year of design experience, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or AutoCAD), GD&T knowledge, and hands-on manufacturing or structural analysis experience.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with at least 1 year of industry design/analysis experience.
• Strong mechanical engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical designs through all development phases (concept to in-orbit support).
• Perform CAD modeling, simulations, and analyses.
• Coordinate with electronics packaging, manufacturing, and test teams.
