Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks an experienced Lead, Integration and Test Engineer to oversee assembly, integration, and test of space vehicles at Palm Bay, FL. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical/electrical/aerospace/industrial engineering background with 9+ years in space products, strong test discipline, and the ability to obtain a security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or industrial engineering.
• 9+ years of industry experience in relevant space programs.
• Experience with integration and test of high-reliability space products.
• Security clearance required upon hire: Secret.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team in the assembly, integration, and test of space vehicles per customer requirements.
• Plan new programs/projects; provide bottom-up estimates and resource plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DFMA/DFMT and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain Satellite System integration and test plans; coordinate resources.
• Analyze drawings and part lists; generate clear assembly documentation for shop floor.
• Direct support personnel in day-to-day assembly, integration, and test tasks.
• Review telemetry/test data; verify SV functionality and resolve anomalies.
• Develop tools, strategies and systems for manufacturing and engineering tasks.
• Develop IMS milestones and report status to program team and leadership.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and determine tooling/process requirements.
