Job summary

You will lead a production team and coordinate resources across the project lifecycle to meet customer requirements and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering with 9 years of experience; or a Graduate Degree with 7 years.
• Minimum 4 years' direct experience with integration and test of high reliability space products or programs.
• Experience implementing lean/six sigma techniques including FMEA, DFMA, DTC, DOE and RCCA.
• Security Clearance required upon hire: Secret.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team in assembly, integration, and test per customer requirements and processes.
• Plan new programs/projects for space vehicle assembly and test; provide bottom-up estimates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DFMA/DFMT and process improvements to minimize costs.
• Develop and maintain Satellite System integration and test plans; coordinate resources over the project life.
• Analyze drawings and part lists; generate clear assembly documentation for shop floor use.
• Direct support personnel for day-to-day assembly, integration, and test tasks.
• Support test processes, review telemetry and data, and resolve test anomalies.
• Develop manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems.
• Assist with cost/schedule responsibilities and direct customer interface.
