Job summary

You will develop instructions, support manufacturing planning, and ensure efficient movement of hardware through assembly, verification, and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of related experience, or in lieu of a degree minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and test activities for sub-component hardware and system builds.
• Develop detailed mechanical integration work instructions for Engineering Technicians.
• Create and maintain manufacturing and test plans to support production and verification needs.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Support assembly operations by implementing design updates and driving process improvements.
• Use Lean Six Sigma methods to identify, evaluate, and implement process optimization opportunities.
• Participate in production validation through environmental testing and functional checkout.
• Provide day-to-day leadership for technician teams performing manufacturing, integration, and test operations.
• Train, mentor, and guide both technician and engineering team members.
• Document and resolve nonconformances using root-cause and corrective-action methodologies.
• Plan, schedule, and manage major integration or test events including readiness reviews and facility coordination.
• Provide regular status updates and risk mitigations to leadership.
