Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA seeks a MTStaff to model and analyze MW/MT/MD sensors and architectures for national space programs. You’ll work within TAPD to apply modeling, simulation and analysis tools and contribute to system-of-systems studies.

You’ll develop radar, EO and related tracking algorithms, build supporting tools, and perform engineering trades assessments. A STEM degree and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
• Minimum 2 years of educational or professional space systems or algorithms experience.
• Experience programming in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python or FORTRAN.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze MW/MT/MD sensors and architectures.
• Analyze performance using modeling, simulation and analysis tools.
• Evaluate EO, radar sensor architectures and algorithms.
• Develop and implement tracking algorithms (radar/lidar).
• Create tools and simulations for systems engineering trades.
