Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Colorado Springs/El Segundo invites applications for a Member of Technical Staff in the Tracking Architecture Performance Department. The role focuses on modeling, analysis, and algorithm development for MW/MT/MD sensors and space surveillance systems.

You will work with radar, EO/IR sensors and space protection concepts, developing and implementing tracking algorithms, and building tools to support interdisciplinary teams and system trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• At least 2 years of space systems or algorithms experience.
• Experience programming in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python or FORTRAN.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform modeling and analysis of MW/MT/MD sensors and architectures.
• Conduct analysis using modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
• Analyze EO, radar, and passive RF sensor concepts, architectures, and algorithms.
• Develop and implement radar, lidar, and related tracking algorithms.
• Develop computer tools and simulations to support interdisciplinary teams and system trades.
