Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly (and El Segundo) is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to lead modeling, simulation, and analysis for tracking system architectures across space, air, maritime, and ground domains. You will guide project work, mentor engineers, and help establish metrics and visualization tools to communicate results.

Based in a 100% onsite role, you will collaborate with management to align objectives, drive performance improvements, and support growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience leading technical teams and coordinating complex modeling/analysis tasks.
• Knowledge of tracking algorithms and tracking performance assessment.
• Willingness to travel and/or work off-hours as required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling and analysis studies for complex system-of-systems architectures with emphasis on tracking performance optimization.
• Evaluate multi-domain architectures across space, air, maritime and ground domains with diverse sensor systems.
• Develop and implement tracking and data fusion algorithms and novel methodologies.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Serve as technical lead and primary customer liaison for projects; align objectives and strategy.
