Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Task Order Manager to generate, oversee, monitor, and report on a NASA Johnson Space Center task order. You will serve as the primary interface with NASA customers and company leadership on cost performance and execution.

This senior role requires extensive experience in project, program, budget, or task order management within aerospace or government contracting, plus a BS degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

15+ years of project, program, budget, or task order management experience in aerospace, engineering services, or government contracting.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior interface with NASA customers for the assigned task order.
Manage day-to-day task order performance and ensure cost objectives are met.
Track budgets, labor hours, and procurements; develop and monitor cost plans, estimates, and actuals.
Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and performance metrics to NASA and contract stakeholders.
Identify, track, and mitigate task order risks; generate Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
Collaborate with technical leads, functional managers, and subcontractors to ensure effective execution.
