Job summary

Amentum Advanced Solutions in the United States seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large, complex engineering programs across aerospace, defense, and nuclear facilities, coordinating with customers and multiple engineering disciplines.

You will bid and win work, manage the design staff, oversee procurement, and drive startup and turnover to ensure deliverables meet budget and schedule while applying company policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in engineering with 7–10+ years in engineering and 5+ years in project management.
• Demonstrated performance on project management assignments of increasing responsibility.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across aerospace, defense, nuclear, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage large size and complex projects or multiple smaller projects.
• Bid and win work, manage customer relations, and oversee design staff.
• Oversee procurement, field services coordination, checkout, startup, and acceptance.
• Develop and manage all required documentation and deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities and resolve conflicts with leadership.
