Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an intern for the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department to contribute to modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of space, air, and ground systems. You will work on MS&A challenges, develop tools, and support ongoing projects under experienced mentors.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in engineering, CS, or physics, with programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB. This is a 10-week, on-site internship requiring U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Master’s or PhD engineering program (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, software, CS, physics, OR)
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term
• Bachelor’s degree completed by internship start date
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance (U.S. citizenship)
• Transcripts required

Responsibilities

• Learn, use, and contribute to engineering analysis software tools
• Assist with technical deep dives, trade studies, and assessments on multi-disciplinary teams
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and reports
• Duties may be adjusted as needed
• Training and mentorship will be provided
