Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a motivated intern to join the Enterprise Effects Division and contribute to RPO modeling and analysis efforts. You will work on software tools supporting space mission design, orbit estimation, and space-domain awareness, under guidance from senior engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing MS/PhD in STEM, can commit to a 10-week full-time internship, and may need to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. GPA 3.0+ and team collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing MS or PhD in aerospace, physics, math, or related STEM field; graduate program starting Fall 2027 or senior standing by internship start.
• Availability to work full-time for at least 10 weeks and return to degree program afterward.
• Proficiency in one or more of: C, C++, Python, Fortran, MATLAB.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature analysis software tools for modeling, simulation, and analysis in space mission design, orbital maneuvers, and space domain awareness.
• Analyze system performance and architecture options.
• Collaborate with local and other Aerospace teams.
