Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a role within Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE) to assist engineers and technicians with test setup, design, assembling, testing, and implementation of development articles integrated to production.

The position requires basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, soldering, helium, nitrogen, aircraft fluids, reading schematics, and familiarity with AS9100.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in related field.
• Development Lab and Production Lab experience.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing work instructions.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident alien status, or otherwise able to review all export-controlled technical information.
• Strong written and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians with test setup and assembly.
• Test articles integrated to production and validated.
• Rebuild valves, regulators and components.
• Troubleshoot sensors, transducers, load cells and gauges.
• Read schematics, P&ID drawings and test procedures.
• Maintain a safe lab environment and follow AS9100 standards.
