Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced technician to implement automation for hydraulic, pneumatic, and cryogenic testing. You will assemble and test components, interpret schematics, and support engineers with test documentation and automation development.

The role requires extensive lab experience, fluency with test instruments, and a strong background in fluid power. Occasional travel for training and knowledge gathering is expected, within a safety-conscious aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a related field.
• Development Lab and Production Lab experience.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing work instructions.
• Strong written and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test hydraulic/pneumatic components and assemblies.
• Support engineers with test setups and automation development.
• Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Inspect components for damage and latent flaws; perform continuity checks.
• Maintain safe lab practices and perform cryogenic testing where required.
• Collaborate with production lines to improve practices and support automation ideas.
