Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician II to build, integrate, and test aerospace systems from engineering drawings and specifications. You will use torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers, perform fault isolation, and support transition from development to production while maintaining 5S work areas.

This role requires 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing with hands-on integration of structures, fluids, avionics, and related test equipment, with willingness

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionics systems.
• Proficient with precision calibration tools.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per specifications.
• Configure work areas with tooling to optimize workflow during high-rate production.
• Operate torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers to maintain quality.
• Identify and implement safety, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation.
• Support transition from development to production and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized 5S-compliant work areas.
