Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to support aerospace systems across engineering, production, and manufacturing teams in our Seattle area facilities. You will build, integrate, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies from drawings and work instructions, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionics systems.
• Proficient with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Experience with adhesives, sealants, and fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies of major systems per specifications.
• Configure production areas with tooling to optimize workflow during high-rate manufacturing.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety and productivity.
• Perform tests, troubleshoot, and fault isolation to ensure reliability.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, 5S-compliant work areas.
