Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 - Mission Operations Factory Support in Redondo Beach, CA. You will prepare for and execute spacecraft operations and maintenance, working with a team to resolve anomalies and maintain mission readiness.

The role requires a STEM degree with relevant experience and active security clearances, with opportunities for travel and remuneration aligned to market levels in Southern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience or Master of Science in STEM with 0 years of experience.
• Active SCI clearance at time of application or ability to obtain and maintain SCI.
• Top Secret clearance at time of application and ability to obtain and maintain SCI prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support and lead return to operations after anomalies.
• Perform root cause and corrective action analysis for system anomalies.
• Prepare and present system state of health and critical topics to program and customer leadership.
• Engage with customers, SETAs, and subcontractors on system operations and data processing.
