Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer - Level 2 to develop and sustain several mission software products. You will join a large team with diverse subsystems and software focuses, contributing to innovative solutions for national security missions.

The role requires strong OO design, C++ expertise, and an active or ability-to-obtain a security clearance. Roles may be located in Redondo Beach, Aurora, or Gilbert, with training travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with additional 4 years experience.
• Active SCI clearance at time of application or active TS with ability to obtain SCI.
• Advanced object-oriented programming skills with C++ experience.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain mission operational software product lines.
• Collaborate with a large team of subsystems with specialized software focus.
• Travel to Redondo Beach, CA for required training for ~4 weeks.
