Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level4 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This role works with a cross-functional SCRUM team to define product vision, manage the backlog, and deliver mission-focused software and hardware solutions in an Agile environment.

You will apply MBSE methods, use Cameo/SysML, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure requirements, interfaces, and tests align with program goals.

Qualifications

• Active SCI clearance at time of application or active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• 8+ years of engineering experience with STEM discipline or 6+ years with Master's
• Experience with MBSE methodology and tools such as Cameo/MBSE workflows
• Experience in space-vehicle, command-and-control, or related software systems

Responsibilities

• Drive development of features for satellite ground systems in an Agile setting
• Translate customer needs into digital artifacts for software implementation
• Lead verification planning and test requirements for the project
• Engage in sprint planning, reviews and cross-team collaboration
• Provide SME input for space-vehicle C2 system areas and interfaces
• Conduct demos and briefings for customers and leadership
