Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior systems engineer to support major program milestones, develop technical content, and prepare presentations for stakeholders. You will model mission-level elements, create DRMs, and perform propellant budgets and RF analyses while developing analysis tools.

The role requires leading cross-discipline teams, presenting to senior leaders, and maintaining an active Top-Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with eight years of professional experience, or Master’s with six, or PhD with four.
• Requires an active Top-Secret/SCI clearance at time of application.
• Experience in systems engineering including architecture studies and requirements management.
• Experience leading a cross-discipline engineering team.
• Experience with presenting briefing slides to senior leaders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Support major program milestones and readiness reviews by developing technical content and presentations for stakeholders.
• Author and provide input to program data products and vital deliverables.
• Work with mission partners to model mission-level elements accurately.
• Assess a vehicle’s day-in-the-life and create design reference missions (DRMs).
• Produce analyses such as propellant budgets, on-orbit fuel, RF link budgets, and mission lifetime estimates.
• Develop analysis tools as required.
• Manage requirements by decomposing from Mission to Subsystems, and document interfaces.
