Job summary

Mclaurin Aerospace is seeking a System Administrator EG Labs to join the JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. This role supports Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division labs, administering Windows and Linux systems, and designing secure lab networks.

The position emphasizes proactive system health monitoring, security upgrades, and collaboration with a team of System Administrators in a lab-focused environment. US citizenship and security screening required.

Qualifications

• 1 year in any IT-related field.
• Experience with Linux OS (RedHat-based).
• Experience with Windows OS (Windows 10+).
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills.
• Team-oriented experience in lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Support labs in the Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division.
• Administer both Windows and Linux based systems.
• Design and manage wired and wireless lab networks; apply security updates.
• Collaborate with other System Administrators and follow best practices.
• Investigate system problems, monitor health, and perform upgrades.
