Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support Windows and Linux environments across the enterprise. The role requires TS/SCI with FSP, strong systems administration, and cross‑functional collaboration with network and application teams.

You will plan and implement OS upgrades, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues to maintain mission‑critical operations in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Networks and Computer Systems Administration experience related to Systems Engineer/IT.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Security+ / CASP / CISSP certification required within first six months.
• Experience with SCCM and SCOM.

Responsibilities

• Plans, tests, installs, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems, third‑party software components, and subsystems.
• Proactively monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance.
• Performs troubleshooting and diagnosing and correction of problems.
