Job summary

Aerodyne Industries, LLC seeks a System Administrator for the Johnson Space Center to support the Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division across multiple labs, handling Windows and Linux systems and network design. You will apply security updates, monitor system health, and work with a team of engineers to implement best practices in lab environments.

A bachelor’s degree and 1 year IT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in IT or related field.
• 1 year in IT-related field; Linux experience (RedHat-based) preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS (Windows 10+) and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows and Linux lab systems and design networking (wired and wireless).
• Maintain security updates on all lab systems and apply security best practices.
• Investigation of system problems, proactive health monitoring, and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with other system administrators within the Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division.
