Job summary

Vast is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator, Structures Manufacturing in Long Beach, CA. This full-time role reports to the Production Manager, Structures Manufacturing, ensuring smooth progression of components across the shop floor to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities include moving parts, avoiding damage, coordinating with purchasing/logistics, and flagging shortages with engineering and procurement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor and move parts through the manufacturing floor to meet deadlines
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to move parts to outsourcing locations
• Collaborate with engineering, planning and procurement to flag shortages ahead of time
• Maintain accurate part status and dates to customers
• Support shop floor with returns and data correction for MRP signals
