Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Security Analyst Intern for Summer 2027 based at Wallops Island, VA. You will join a fast-paced security team to advance security education, risk assessments, and infrastructure research while learning from experienced mentors.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across physical and program security, enterprise risk management, and related programs designed to protect personnel, assets, and IP. This paid internship includes exposure to a broad set of security disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and security team to apply knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Support security concepts through education, intelligence and risk assessments, and network infrastructure research.
• Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to monitor progress and learning.
