Job summary

Rocket Lab in Middle River, Maryland is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to support the Security Team across education, risk assessments, and physical security initiatives. You will work closely with a mentor to apply industry concepts and grow technically and professionally.

In a fast-paced environment, you will participate in 1:1 mentoring, attend tech talks, and network with interns and staff. This paid internship emphasizes hands-on learning and collaboration within a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor to apply security concepts and grow your skills
• Contribute to security education, risk assessments, and intelligence gathering
• Attend regular mentorship meetings and progress updates
• Engage with interns and employees at events and talks
