Job summary

Rocket Lab, the end-to-end space company, is seeking a Security Analyst Intern at its Wallops Island, Virginia site. You will support the security team in education, intelligence and risk assessments, network research, and physical security to protect people, assets, and IP.

You’ll work closely with mentors, participate in industry concepts, attend frequent 1:1s, and join tech talks and intern events while gaining hands-on experience over a 12-week, full-time on-site program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar.
• Must have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge to security education, intelligence and risk assessments, network infrastructure research, and physical security.
• Collaborate with security team to deliver results and grow professionally.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning.
• Engage in tech talks and network with interns and employees through events.

Education

Enrolled in degree program (criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar)

GPA 3.0

GPA 3.5+ preferred

General work experience (internships or projects)
