Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to join our on-site team in Wallops Island, Virginia. You will support security education, conduct intelligence and risk assessments, and assist with physical security and enterprise risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in criminal justice or security fields, with GPA 3.0 and at least one semester remaining. This 12+ week, full-time internship offers relocation stipend and exposure to aerospace security

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar.
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)
• Military experience, active duty or reserves, or ROTC (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Support Security Team in developing security education and risk assessments.
• Conduct intelligence gathering and risk assessments for protectable assets.
• Research network infrastructure and physical security considerations.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results and progress updates.
