Job summary

Rocket Lab, based in Long Beach, California, is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to work on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks starting May or June 2027. You will collaborate with the Security Team to apply industry concepts, contribute to security education, perform risk assessments, and engage in physical and program security tasks.

You will work closely with mentors, attend tech talks, and participate in intern events to build professional skills.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar, with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 is required.
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience) is applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and security team to apply knowledge and grow skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Support security education, intelligence and risk assessments, and network infrastructure research.
• Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors to track progress and learning.
